Would you like to find out what a CoP is and how you can use it to enhance knowledge sharing and other purposes?

In PolyU, five Communities of Practice (CoPs) have been established to support institution-wide knowledge sharing in targeted areas of teaching and learning activities and practices. They are a group of like-minded people sharing common goals and identities, of which members are drawn from various parts of Faculties/Schools. PolyU CoPs are namely:

• Academic Advising

• Developing, Recognising and Rewarding Excellent Teaching

• Enhancing Students' English Abilities

• Service Learning

• Using Blackboard LMS to Enhance Learning & Teaching

This forum aims to be a knowledge exchange forum among PolyU and major organisations in Hong Kong and China which are operating CoPs for knowledge sharing. There will be short presentations by representatives from MTR Corporation, China Light & Power (CLP), Hong Kong Police, Huawei, and PolyU on each CoP journey, followed by table discussions on solutions for various CoP challenges such as measurement of benefits and impacts, rewards and recognition, growth and sustainability.

A light lunch will be provided from 1:30pm
