To develop rubrics for use in major assessment tasks of subject, a number of issues need to be addressed. These include (1) appropriate weighting of intended learning outcomes; (2) gradual change in assessing intended learning outcomes; (3) use of rubrics in determining standard of MC and structured question paper; and (4) arriving at the final grade of subject. In this workshop, participants will be given opportunities to learn about these issues and methods to address each of them in order to maintain quality assurance of subject assessment. All programme leaders and subject teachers are welcome to attend.
