uRewind Video Training Series (Re-run)

The uRewind Training Series is a series of workshops to help faculty and staff use uRewind - powered by Panopto - effectively. This 3-session series will look at how video can be used to enhance teaching and learning and will involve hands-on activities as well as demonstrations providing valuable information about using uRewind. Each workshop builds on the previous, so it is recommended that participants complete the entire series.

  3. Capture or upload video e.g., lecture capture or video presentation
  4. Edit your video     
  5. Share video content with target users

This workshop will explore how you can enhance your video recordings by adding interactive elements and also explore the analytics interface of uRewind, powered by Panopto. 

  1. Connect uRewind with Blackboard’s Grade Centre
  2. Embed interactive quizzes in your videos
  3. Set up assignment submission folders to collect video assignments from students
  4. Analyse learner participation with the analytics interface.

This workshop will explore how to further edit your recordings, add searchable features and web pages as well as how to live stream events using uRewind webcasting.

  1. Enrich video content with additional resources such as documents, web links and extra video.
  2. Add captions in the video with automatic voice recognition or manual input;

  4. 360 and VR video
  5. Panopto Mobile App for using uRewind
