Join us for an insightful workshop where Andrew will discuss the importance of integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria into real estate investment decisions. He will share how conducting thorough ESG due diligence can identify both risks and opportunities, ultimately creating tangible value for investors. This workshop will explore the methodologies used in ESG assessments specific to the real estate sector and highlight the long-term benefits of incorporating ESG considerations. Attendees will gain valuable insights into how ESG integration can enhance investment strategies, promote sustainable development, and drive superior financial performance.

Bio of the speaker:

Andrew has over 20 years of experience in driving ESG and sustainability leadership, especially for the real estate sector in the Asia Pacific. He has managed carbon reduction and sustainability program for corporate clients and investors across Asia, with project experience including Greater China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia. 

As the Director of ESG Advisory for Colliers in Asia, Andrew leads a professional team in providing ESG investing advisory services for clients such as REITs, occupiers, developers, banks, and fund managers across all asset types. His current focus is to accelerate investors success by future-proofing their investment with robust ESG consideration, stakeholder engagement, and technology application. With the technical knowledge and countless experiences, Andrew is able to offer the most cost-effective solution and maximize the result to drive decarbonization with positive cash flow.

Andrew has professional training or accreditation for engineering, building certification, carbon accounting, ESG disclosure, benchmarking and investing.
