Workshop Highlights

  • Music Theory & Storytelling: A quick introduction to chord progressions, motifs vs. themes, and using leitmotifs to convey character and emotion.

  • DAW Basics: A hands-on GarageBand orientation, focusing on selecting 8-bit and synth sounds for a retro aesthetic.

  • Compose & Iterate: Create, refine, and polish your own original video game soundtrack loop.
